Great-grandfather John Joseph Sheehey seems to have been dropped by a stork because his parents listed on death certificate yield no information. Great-grandfather Patrick Joseph Burke is even more mysterious because his parents are totally unknown. Great-grandfather Charles Eugene Smith of Hartford, CT wast listed as the eighth CE Smith, but dead ends on his parentage. The problem seems to be firm with the solid Irish roots and the frequent misspelling of Sheehey - Sheehy - Shehe - Sheehe - Sheeny - Sheeky Same with Burke but not as severe, name may have been Bourke. Alas Smith becomes major problem with its commonness.
