Claus Fabrin was critically wounded in the Battle of Castelfranco Veneto on his 19th birthday in 1805. His brother, Hans, served until 1813. He'd been awarded the St Helena Medal and if it wasn't for a misplaced attestation, he'd also have been awarded the Dannebrog Cross
