1 Thomas Cotham served in the Revolutionary War in South Carolina. It is in the Roster of South Carolina. Patriots in the American Revolution by Bobby Gilmer Ross, Baltimore Genealogical Publishing Co, 1983--he seved 90 days as a horseman in the Spartan Regiment of Militia under Captain Vardy McBee and Col. John Thomas. He was living in the Cheraws Dist. of SC in 1778 and in Franklin Co., Ga in 1802-1808.
