Research Notes relating to the family of John Watson (1882-abt.1921)

Shuba

Anna's son Paul Shuba married Helen B. Speck on 28 August 1937 in Washington, Pennsylvania, United States. His father was stated to be Paul Shuba Sr., deceased. Mother's maiden name Hatrack. Helen's father was Michael Speck, mother Mary Jurak.^[1]

Watson

The 1910 and 1920 US census both show John's parents as born in Scotland, and Margaret's in Scotland, mother Ireland. Neither of the following options fit the parental birthplaces of the US censues.

Note: This is very close to Uddingston (as mentioned in passenger list below) and Bothwell. It appears that Robert may have been elsewhere for this census, initial research suggest possibly in prison.

Shows wife Maggie living in Harrisburg, sister Rose Ann (Hanrah?) in Uddingston, South Lanarkshire, Scotland^[5]
