Deed Transcription
This indenture made and entered into this 13th day of January 1874 by and between Jno H. Wall and Ida L. Wall party of the first part and Sidney Harris Colored of the second part Witnessith whereas on the 16 Dec 1891 said Wall gave Harris a bond for a deed in consideration of Twenty five dollars to be paid. Now in consideration of the payment of said twenty five dollars and interest thereon said Wall hereby conveys the strip of ground lying in Walls addition to Morganfield Ky as shown in said Bond which is bounded as follows Beginning at a stake corner to the Gilchrist now Hopgood lot in said Harris line thence with line of Hopgood 12 feet to a stake thence at a right angle and parallel with Harris line about 51 feet to a stake in line of Dan Wilson’s children’s lot thence at right angle and with line of said Wilson’s 12 feet to a stake corner to Harris lot thence with his line to the beginning. To have and to hold the same together with all appurtenances thereto belonging unto said Sidney Harris his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty. In testimony whereof said Wall and wife here waving all title and claim including dower and Homestead therein have hereto set their hands day and date first herein written.

I John H Wall Clerk of the Union County Court do certify that the foregoing Deed from Jno H Wall & wife to Sidney Harris col was on this day of produced to and before me acknowledged by said Jno H Wall and Ida L. Wall his wife to be their act and deed in due form of law. Whereupon the same was ordered to be and is with this certificate truly recorded in my office Witness my hand this 13th day of Janry 1894
