Rowland Laugharne MP (abt.1607-1675)
- He was a co-leader of Welsh forces on the Parliamentary side in the First English War - 1642-46 and a co-leader of Welsh forces in support of the Royalist side in the Second English War - 1648.
- His forces won in the first war, but he was defeated by a force led by Oliver Cromwell in the second.
- Tried and convicted for treason he ended up being pardoned.
