Description: Heading past the famous Granville Country Store (150 yrs old and fabulous, famous cheese) on your right, down Silver Street aways (a mile or so?) the Silver Street Cemetery will be on your left. No fence, just a mildly hilly old cemetery with a stone fence around the sides and back of it. There is a little stone house, probably the maintenance shed, that says "1902" over the door. There are many graves here older than that, so the house came later.
The Massachusetts Historical Commission refers to this cemetery in MACRIS as GRN.806 Silver Street Cemetery.
This cemetery is referred to as GR2 Southeast Cemetery in the "Vital Records of Granville Massachusetts to the end of the year 1849."
