In obedience to an order from the Union county Court, We the undersigned appraisers being first duly sworn have proceeded to and appraised the property belonging to John Payne Senr This first day of December 1858----as follows viz----

At a County Court began and held for Union County at the Courthouse in Morganfield on the 3rd day of January 1859. This Inventory & appraisement of the estate of John Payne Sr deceased was returned into Court and was by the Court ordered to be recorded which has been accordingly done.
