This page's purpose is to record the people enslaved by Amy (Booker) Webb and attempt to connect them to their families. Amy (Booker) Webb married John Webb in Essex County, Virginia, in 1772 and at some point they relocated to Granville County, North Carolina.
John died in August 1826 and his will was probated in November 1826 in Granville County. His will inventory listed 22 enslaved people, seven of whom were divided among three of his daughters and "all the balance and residue of my Estate both real and personal, I also lend to my beloved wife during her life."[1] The fifteen people inherited by Amy for her lifetime were:[2]

Thirteen enslaved people were named in these sale records and were purchased by various family members.[3]
