On 10 Jul 1832 Catharine Prioleau gave to Dr. Edmond Ravenel the following enslaved persons in trust for her granddaughter, Mrs. Louisa Ravenel, the wife of Dr. Edmond Ravenel:^[1]

• Abram (Abraham) (who was left to Catharine instead of Marcus)

• Annette (I will and direct that each of my children pay to the servant Annette during the term of her natural life the sum of $5 to be paid on the first day of every January by my children and their executors and administrators)
