- 1868, Cullen was recorded as a resident on 4 April 1868 in Boston, Bowie, Texas, United States.[7] "There was a man by the name of Ulac Runnels that worked for Cullen. Was accused of stealing cotton, found dead behind Dr. Wares place. Mac Runnels had said that Ulac was given money to move the cotton, but the money turned out to be counterfeit and betrayed his theft of the cotton, Signed Forest Hooks ." Image 1075 of 1081, page 86, second paragraph.
