Slaves in Deed records
On 06 June 1842, Charles B. Jones, on behalf of Mary E. Barnard, grantor, of Camden County, Georgia and Chatham County, Georgia, respectively, sold to David Lang, grantee, for $900.00 for slaves Juha (?) and her children Rose and Sampson.[3]
On 28 December 1847, Caroline Brown, grantor, of Camden County, Georgia sold to David Lang, grantee, of Camden County, Georgia for $300.00 the slave Scipio.[4]
