The following slaves were brought into Georgia from Virginia in 1821.[1]

- Walace -19 years old - yellow complexion
- Alfred - 7 years old - yellow complexion
- Depha - 33 old - black
- Sarah - 14 years old - black
Mortgage
Duncan mortgages some of his slaves to Robert Stafford in 1843 for $10,000. The slaves on the mortgage: Charlotte, Willis, George, Affey, Frank, Dolly, Mary Jane, Sophia, George, Andrew, Billy, Stephen, Kate, Fanny, Stepney, Joe, Mary, Susan, Young Frank, Peggy, Hagar, Nanny, Larken, Nanny, Robert, David, Sylvia, Naston, Fugus, and Delphia.[2]
Probate
Duncan died in 1849 but the 1850 slave schedule still listed 229 slaves to him in Camden County, Georgia.
The probate inventory list seems to be organized by family group. For this reason the below table copies the format of the listing as much as possible. The inventory was filed January 14, 1850.
