In image 915 there is an accounting of the estate for January 1856 – January 1857. Included is a reference to amount collected for the hire of Dave.

An amount for the hire of Dave is included again in the records for January 1855 – January 1856. This is found in image 917.

1855 transaction from the estate file, image 1024. This is a receipt signed by Walter Ware, "for the hire of my boy Humphrey". (The name is difficult to read and this transcription may be faulty.)

Image 1056 in this set of records includes the amount collected for the hire of Dave.

Image 1061 documents land purchased by the estate: East Half of South East Quarter of Section 16 of Township 22 of Range 24, 3 Feb 1848. This is signed by Wm Sanders.
