Inheritance
Florida died before 1849 and so the slaves from her father's estate came to her estate after her death. They were managed by her husband Thomas for their children.
Second share to Thomas M. Forman, guardian of Florida Forman's children. Thomas lands total of 2468.1/4 acres, Mitchell lands totaling 2721 & 1/2 acres, Rosemont 1500 acres, perishable property at Mitchell and Thomas land. The slaves inherited came from multiple plantations of the Governor including: Lower Turkey Creek, Valdosta, Thomas Crossroads, Rosemont and Horseshoe Place Plantations. There were also slaves from her uncle, Robert's estate that had been inherited by her father included.

Deeds
On 3 January 1863, Thomas M. Forman made a promissory note to Robert Habersham, William Myle Habersham, and Alexander Telfair Habersham co-partners under the firm Rob Habersham and Sons all of Chatham County, Georgia for 1928 acres of land in McIntosh County, Georgia, being 2/3 of Broughton Island bounded on the south by lands of Dr. James Troup. Also the following slaves:[2]

There is another deed to the Bank of Savannah dated 3 Jan 1863 that uses slaves as collateral. That deed apparently was fulfilled.[3]

3 January 1863
Received from Dr. Louis A. Falligant fifteen hundred 00/100 dollars in full for the purchase of three (3) negro slaves named Julia, Eliza, and Louisa hereby delivered. The right title to said slaves we warrant and defend against ourselves and all and every other person or persons whatever.
