Floride Bonneau (Peyre) Richardson lived in the Sumter District of Clarendon County, South Carolina, which later became Sumter County.
In 1812 Floride inherited eight enslaved people from her husband John Peter Richardson:[1] [2]

Floride died in 1844. On 5 February 1845, her probate inventory named and valued 43 people she was enslaving at the time of her death. These people were listed in specific groupings, valued separately then added together as a batch. These groupings are preserved below in case they can provide clues to family relationships.[3]
