Inventory of Estate of Hannah McGillis was filed in March of 1855. There were two inventories done. One of her property at St Marys and the second of her property on the plantation of Gillis McDonald.
At the distribution of the estate Francis Maynart Adams represents his wife, Isabel Hannah Adams daughter of Gillis McDonald. We see in later records that the slaves are in his name. While Randolph McGillis McDonald, recently deceased, is represented by his widow Mary McDonald.
