On 15 January 1834, Henry Bailey, grantor, of Camden County, Georgia mortgaged to George Morrison, grantee, of Camden County, Georgia, the following slaves: Julia and her three children Betsey, Harriet and Jim.[2]
On 25 August 1835, Henry Bailey, grantor, sold to George Morrison, grantee, of Camden County, Georgia for $1,550.00 for slaves: Delia, 38 years-old; her child Bet, about 7 years-old; Harriet, about 6 years-old; Jim, about 4 years-old; Nancy, about 1 year and 6 months-old and Daniel about 8 months-old.[3]
