Notes:

• On some of the 1856 birth records is shows the owner to be a Joel A Hawkins and father to be John R Edmunds. Need to investigate further to see if this was an error on the part of the person creating the record or if he did father some slaves.
• On the 1856 birth records it shows an entry for "Lenn" with father of "John R Edmonds" and mother Aggi. The birth was reported by "A R Powell, overseer". And, the very next line is the entry for John and his wife Mildred's son Abram with quote marks in the father's name column, indicating they have the same father.
• On the 1859 record, the father is listed as "John R Edmunds" and owner as "J R Edmunds". It is assumed they are the same, however, will need further research.
• On the 1861/1862 record, there is one entry for Roxanne where it lists "Jno R Edmunds" as her father and "James C Bruce, owner". It could be the person writing the information down got the rows shifted.
