Background

Mary Ann Morgandollar was born in Switzerland to Kasper Daniel Morgandollar (abt.1717-abt.1767) and Frances Verena (Freitag) Morgandollar (abt.1721-abt.1770). They migrated to America and lived on a plantation in St. James, Goose creek Parish in South Carolina. Kasper passed away in 1767 and bequeathed his daughter Mary the following enslaved[1]

Slaves

Mary married Jacob Geiger (bef.1724-aft.1769) sometime before 1767. They lived on a plantation in St. George's Parish, Berkeley County, South Carolina. Jacob died in 1769. The following enslaved were named in his will and bequeathed to his wife, Mary Ann (Morgandollar) Givhan (abt.1743-abt.1789)[2] and probate papers.[3]
