Schedule Division of Slaves in the Will of Dr James Troup, 14 April 1856, Glynn County, Georgia, Bequeathed to Matilda Brailsford Troup

It is assumed these slaves mentioned in the will were from the Broadfield Plantation, later known as Hofwyl-Broadfield, which was Dr Troup's home place in Glynn County, Georgia.[1]
It is believed that the number beside some names designates a division of family groups. For example: O Tena has a 7 so the family group includes William to O Tena, seven people. The next family has five members and stops on Bob. And so on.
Slaves listed on schedule No 5 were inherited by Miss M Troup.
