Index of Plantations

This page's purpose is to record the enslaved people owned by Nancy Ann (Felder) Atkinson (1776-1838), of Camden County, Georgia, and attempt to connect them to their families.

Burwell Atkinson and his wife, Ann, owned two plantations in Camden County, Georgia: Middleton Neck Plantation and Wayside Plantation.[1] It is not yet known on which plantations which slaves lived or worked.

Burwell had two wives that went by Ann. In 1840 he deeded an Ann a number of slaves. This page was made to show those deeds, but it was discovered that the deeds were for the second wife, since this Ann died in 1838.
