Background
Paul Hamilton Jr lived for some time in South Carolina. He went back to England and eventually died there.
Slaves
Loyalist Claim
In his Loyalist claim, Hamilton says that he sold some slaves while living in Bermuda, but he does not name them. The only slaves named in his claim are a group of slaves, which he says were lost to "camp disorder" in 1780:[1][2]

Runaways
Runaway, Will about age 28 or 30 in 1780.[3]
Probate Inventory
1824, some of the enslaved from the estate of Mr. Paul Hamilton included in the probate inventory of his nephew, Normand McLeod, in 1824.[4]
