Plantation Sales

  • In 1839, estate sales were held and the following properties of Dr Paul Weston were listed[5]
    • January 15, 1839 - Vireen's on Pee Dee River along with 153 enslaved persons
    • January 22, 1839 - residence of Dr Weston on Wando River along with 130 enslaved persons

Addendum

In 1860 the Weston family had 152 "working people".[6]
