The Plantation of John Philip Cromer was called: Clover Hill Plantation and was located between 4 and 5 miles from the town of Abbeville, on Old Abbeville Highway. The property was located in Smithville Township. This property had been in the Cromer Family for four generations, at the time William Oscar Cromer owned it.
