1835 Will
In his will, signed March 13, 1835 and proved June 24, 1835, Reuben Harrison named the following slaves:.[5]
- To his wife Nancy Harrison as a life estate. She would re-marry and under the term of the wills, the named persons reverted to son, David Harrison. In January, 1836, David Harrison conveyed rights and title to his brother-in-law, Charles Moores. When Nancy Harrison married Vincent Bell, Charles Moores petitioned the court for recovery of the following.[6]
