Richard Galloway signed his will at West River on the 8th of OCT 1736. In it he mentions his wife, Sarah to have the use of his plantation during her widowhood, his granddaughter, Elizabeth (under age 25), the daughter of his son Richard, to have a 500 acre tract in Elk Ridge. His son Richard to have his boat and half his personal estate. A kinsman named Joseph Galloway is given five pounds gold for the use of the Quakers for any reason whatsoever. [1]
