Probate Inventory
Richard died in 1849. His will divided the value of his estate into thirds; one to his step-son George Page, one to his brother Charles Leavell, one to his sister Catherine Clark and her children: Thomas L Clark, Richard P Clark, Sarah Wilson, and George P Nells.[1] His probate inventory listed the following slaves.[2]
