Robert's executors distributed the following [named (emphasis added Dingman-2059 13:34, 31 December 2024 (UTC))] slaves from his estate:
- to daughter Mary F (Render) Reeves on 14 Jan 1859:[3]
- Little Nancy, a woman, valued at $950
- Wash (or Nash), a small boy, valued at $600
- Anderson, a boy, valued at $1000
- Clara, a girl, valued at $700
- to daughter Louisa Villa Render on 28 Dec 1860:[4]
- George, a man, valued at $1100
- Celina and child, Solomon, valued at $1300
- Polly, a woman, valued at $350
- Roinn, a girl, valued at $500
Elizabeth Render and ten children inherited slaves during distribution of husband's estate as the estate was divided equally among them. [5] In 1850 before his death in 1853, he held 37 slaves. [6]
