- The purpose of this page is to record the people enslaved by Stephen Foskey Keller of Chatham and Effingham Counties, Georgia, in an attempt to connect them through previous and subsequent owners to their post-emancipation families.

—1838: Settlement of father's estate indicates that Stephen inherited 1/6 of the land and the following five named slaves: Cain, Clarissa, Aaron, Prince, and Rachel.[1]
—1840: Census: Stephen F Keller; Household #85; District 8, Chatham County, Georgia. (5 slaves)[2]

- Slave Males: (1) under age 10; (1) age 36-54
- Slave Females: (2) under age 10; (1) age 24-35

—1859: Inherited an equal share of 24 named slaves from his paternal uncle, Paul Keller, to be held as "tenants in common" and not as "joint tenants" with his four siblings and the six children of Col William Harrison.[4]
