History of Susan (Parish) Blake and Blakely Plantation

Blakely Plantation was a 900 acre forced labor farm developed by Miles Blake (1785-1840) from North Carolina about 1826. It was located in the extreme northeastern Leon County, Florida. After Miles Blake's death in 1840, his wife, Susan (Parish) Blake (1809-1868), took over ownership.[1][2]
