Thomas Blue (1809-1851) received two slaves in his father's 1840 will, which was proved in 1842. "3rd I give and bequeath to my son Thomas, Negroes David & Rebecca. Also all the money and other goods that I have already given him."[1]
The 10 Oct 1850 Slave Schedule District. 24, Hampshire Co. VA, p. 25, Thomas Blue, recorded 11 enslaved people.[2]
