A total of 64 slaves are disposed of in his will dated June 14, 1844
It appears that Tully received a number of slaves through his first wife, Catherine Gaines. No details of the orgination have been found, but it appears they were to remain in trust with Tully and to be given to Catherine's issue. Their one son, Thaddeus, received the following:
