1863 Deed
- On April 28, 1863, a deed was filed in court identifying distribution of ten slaves owned by William as equal 1/5 shares to his four children and the children of his deceased daughter. Ownership was conveyed for the sum of one dollar. The deed notes that William retained a portion of the life lease for his own use.[5] The distribution was completed in November, 1863.[6]

- In November 1865, William T Boyle, administrator, submitted the following as part of the Estate.[7]
