The purpose of this page is to record those enslaved by William C Love and connect them to their descendants.
Probate Records
The following were hired from William C Love's estate for 1827.[1] The estate was then divided in January 1829.[2] Some slaves that appear on the hire documents do not appear on the later division of the estate. Three of these are young children who had perhaps died. What became of the others is unknown. There is also two individuals, Old Jack and Adalade, who do not appear on the hire but only on the later documents.
