Division of Slaves
William died intestate. An appraisement and division of land and slaves was completed December 24, 1857.[2] In November 1858, his widow, Honor, petitioned the court to be allowed to distribute the assets of the estate. The file was closed in December 1859.[3] The info below consolidates the info between the estate papers and an abstract of the petition.
