Wikipedia

The Society for Creative Anachronism, commonly called the SCA, is a global participatory society for the recreation of medieval life. Founded as the result of a student party in 1966 in Berkeley, California, USA, its initial scope was the Western Europe from 600AD to 1600AD. This has now expanded to cover all history from that period, and many members also recreate periods of the ancient world.

There are chapters all over the world, all of which are members of a current 20 Kingdoms.
