Welcome to the Sohier One Study project.

The goal of this project is to put together reliable pedigrees of the various lines of the family Sohier and spread around the world of their descendants.

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Joop van Belzen.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

  • collect Propper online sourches til now from:
    • France, middle ages
    • Belgium, middle ages
    • Netherlands, about 1500
    • USA, immigrants 1600?
    • Canada, immigrants,
    • Australia, immigrants
    • United Kingdom, middle ages
  • translate French information to English
  • Collect early pictures of family members.

Will you join me? Please post a comment here on this page, in G2G using the project tag, or send me a private message. Thanks!

Hi Joop,

I've added your project to the ONS category so people can find you, as well as a Sohier Name Study category since it sounds like it would fit well in our One Name Studies Project. Thanks for starting it!
