Goals

The Galicia Team is part of the Spain Project. Its focus is to work on profiles of those born in Galicia, raising the standard and increasing the presence of these profiles on WikiTree.

Topics

To achieve that end we are working on a number of different topics. There is always room for more, so if you have any ideas and would like to join us, let us know as we'd love to have you!

  • Maintenance categories
  • One place studies
  • Project managed Galician profiles
  • Galician sub-projects

Task List

No one person has to do any of these things. Take your pick and let me know what you have decided to work on! :-)

  • Finish the place name categories for Galicia
  • Create maintenance categories
  • Identify Galician profiles we need to manage as a project and begin working on them
  • Find out if there are any Galician One Place Studies
  • Provide some clear Galician resources for people
  • Start some exciting new Galician sub-projects

If you have a project for Galicia, will you write that the followed tag (for the G2G) is Galicia_Spain? I have changed the tag from Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria to Galicia_Austria. This way it helps people separate the two regions easier. Thank you!! Skye

My 3G grandfather worked in Lazareto de San Simón in Vigo. His youngest son was born there. Probably my 4G gf was also Galician from A Coruña. Interested in learning more about Galician research
