The Stricklands

This Cemetery contains the Strickland Family of Big Creek, Georgia. The Strickland family's ancestors were expelled from Forsyth County, Georgia in 1912. Before that, the Strickland Family/Ancestors had owned a 37 acre homestead there. In 2008, the property, which includes a family burial ground (the one listed on this page) is owned by white residents.

PBS Independent Lens aired a documentary on this Cemetery and the Descendants of the Strickland Family.
