The Bible was published in Philadelphia in 1888. The text is in German but pictures are titled in English. The condition is poor. It was originally owned by Christian Sutter and his wife Catherine Yost who married in 1882. The entries would have been entered at a later date. There are several different hands of written text on the pages for Births and Deaths. The earlier ones are in old German script. Currently in the possession of Christol James .
