Tamworth Cemetery is a large regional cemetery that dates from the 1840s. The monumental cemetery is divided into denominational portions including Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Independent, Latter Day Saints, Methodist, Presbyterian, Salvation Army and Seventh Day Adventist. The portions are well marked and sections and row markers are in place.
There is also a large lawn cemetery dating from around 1970 that includes garden and columbarium for the placement of ashes. The whole site is maintained in excellent condition by the Tamworth Regional Council.
