Taylor or Meily Family Mysteries

My mil had a father named Harry Meily Taylor. She was born in 1932 and he either died or left a few months before she was born. He married her mother, Lessie Butler, in Norfolk, Va in January 1932. He told her he had grown up in Jackson, Missouri in 1910 and had siblings, Beatrice and Albert, who were twins. He told her his mother and father were killed in a fire in Chicago when he was young and his Aunt and uncle raised him. He was in the merchant marines and said he was in the CIA. There was a number to call on the back of the marriage certificate. When he left, Lessie was so bitter she destroyed anything connected to him except the marriage certificate. So my mil has spent a lifetime researching, trying to find her missing father. He may have made up everything and Lessie knew it, but married him anyway. The only proof that he existed is the marriage certificate. My mil had a DNA test done, but I understand that it can't trace her fathers line because she is a female. So, wondering if anyone ever knew of his mother, Katherine Meily Taylor and his father, W C Taylor? Or if they knew any twins Albert and Beatrice Taylor?
