Ted & Emma McNabb wedding photo

This photo appears on page 810 of The Libeau Family of Banks Peninsula (2012).

See the Photo and Key to the right hand side (of this webpage). The book gives the following captions:

  1. Louisa Victoire (Brocher) Bunny (1880-1949)
  2. George Kingston (1872-1918)
  3. Father James Aloysius Kennedy
  4. Joseph Sergison (1857-1933)
  5. Josephine Mary (Libeau) Sergison (1854-1926)
  6. Johanna Georg Breitmeyer (1838-1909)
  7. unknown MCNABB
  8. Francis Joseph McNabb (1877-1950)
  9. Claude Jean Baptiste Eteveneaux (abt.1826-1915)
  10. John Kotlowski (best man)
  11. Edward George McNabb (1868-1958)
  12. Emma Josephine (Brocher) McNabb (1878-1951)
  13. Matilda Maude (Sergison) Lock (1888-1979)
  14. Bessie (Sergison) Harrison (1887-1953)
  15. Catherine Mélanie (Libeau) Eteveneaux (1831-1918)
  16. unknown
  17. Augustus Sergison (1893-1966)
  18. Eugenie Sergison (1895-1977)
  19. William Joseph Sergison (1891-1972)

The book does not give a source for the photo nor the captions and I would welcome further discussion. My speculation follows McNabb-412 10:37, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

There is another person behind the bridesmaid who is not numbered in the key. Given the nature of this photo, and the fact we see the bride's parents and siblings, and the groom's siblings; surely we should expect to see the groom's parents in this photo as well?

So perhaps the obscured person is Catherine (Farnan) McNabb (abt.1845-1922), and maybe #6 is Francis McNabb (abt.1841-1928) ? The only other photo I have of Francis McNabb would be from several years later and with a larger beard, so I can't clearly say if he is in this photo or not. There is a 1906 photo of Breitmeyer on page 304 of Tremewan's book; it's not clear enough for me to say whether or not it's the same person.
