Ter Hul
Ter Hul, an estate in Bunnik (Utrecht province) that has had a special role in the community of Bunnik for centuries. Even more unique is the fact that the farm - and all that belonged to it - has remained in the same family for over 500 years. Even today (2017) members of this family are living there although the property is no longer a farm, and most of the grounds have been repurposed and/or sold.
The long history of this property and the Van Zijl family has been subject of study for many historians and genealogists. It is only fair to grant Ter Hul its very own FreeSpace page.
