History

Terrell Thomas Goldsby (1802-1887) moved from Oglethorpe County, Georgia to Shelby County, Tennessee prior to 1830. It is likely he brought enslaved people with him.

Terrell and another man, likely his brother Miles Walton Goldsby Sr (1798-1871), enslaved twenty people in Shelby County in 1830.[1]
