Biography

The Clifford Plantation was 640 acres[1] owned and operated by William C. Conner in Adams Co, MS. William lived on this plantation with his family. After William died the plantation was sold to the highest bidder. In 1855 his widow, Mrs. Jane E. B. Conner, received the Clifford Plantation as highest bidder.[2][3]
