Many thanks to Rick for assembling 900 scanned pages of Samuel P May's -"author's copy" and making a link to Archive.org - see the link at left.

We should be grateful to Carol and Corrine Battelle Weiss of Midland TX for finding Samuel Pierce May's "author's own copy ms notes interleaved" of this book. May is the husband of Corrine's 5th cousin. She found the book in an Albany bookstore (coincidentally the same town where the book was published)! Send me a note if you want a scanned image of particular page(s) (or interleaved notes) of this book. The book is now in the NEHGS Manuscript Division for preservation.
