"In 1907 Thomas Thayer Ojeda attempted to reconstruct the Tayer pedigree.....Relying almost entirely on the Register articles published the previous year, Ojeda arranged the various Tayers into families according to clues found in wills, the names of godparents, chronological factors, and other data.
