This is the last Will and Testament
of me Charles Jones of the Parish of Cookham in the County
of Berks Farmer I give to my beloved Son John Jones the
Sum of One hundred Pounds I give to my beloved Son Robert
Jones One Guinea to buy him a Ring and I appoint my Said
two Sons my Executors of this my Will I direct all my just
Debts funeral and Testamentary expences to be paid I Give
to my Daughter Mary the Wife of John Robinson of Great
Marlow Ten Pounds and also what Money the said John
Robinson owes me I give to my Daughter Sarah the Wife
of Benjamin Norton of Great Marlow the Sum of thirty
Pounds of which twenty Pounds I have already given with her
makes the Sum of Fifty Pounds to be kept in the Hands of
my Said Executors for the Sole use of my Said Daughter Sarah
and liable to the Controul or debts of her Said Husband
until he shall make a proper Settlement on her for her life
I Give to my Daughter Elizabeth the Wife of Joseph Clack
of Maidenhead the Sum of Fifty Pounds but as I Stand a
Security for the Said Joseph Clack to Mr May Brewer
of Reading for Some Money I direct that of the Said Joseph
Clack cannot Pay that money to Mr May that my Said
Executors shall pay Mr May out of the said Legacy I Give
to my Daughter Jane the Wife of John Cannon of
Maidenhead Baker the Sum of Fifty Pounds I Give to my
Grandson Charles Cannon Seven Load of New Flower Sacks
which I have at Mr Darvalls Mill I Give all the rest and
residue of my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and
wheresoever to my Said Executors In Witness whereof I have
hereunto Set my hand and Seal the fourteenth day of July
in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and

This Will was Proved at London the first day of
October in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred
and fifty Nine before the Worshipfull Arthur Collier Doctor
of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Worshipfull Edward Simpson
Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative
Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of John Jones
and Robert Jones the Sons of the deceased and Executors named
in the Said Will To whom Administration was granted of all and
Sinfular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the Said deceased having
been first Sworn duly to administer the same
